Manage Enquiries

To use the Enquiries module, you need to search for the required learner search for the required learner from the Learner Search feature.

When you have selected the learner, the Learner Details screen of the Learner module is displayed.

The Enquiries and Applications module tab is displayed automatically when you select a learner.

When the EBS4EnquiriesClient licence is enabled in conjunction with the EBS4ApplicClient licence, the Enquiries module is available and the tab is named Enquiries and Applications. If the licence is turned off, the tab will display Applications only.

There are two types of enquiry:

  • General enquiry - a general enquiry is an enquiry that is not linked to a specific course (for example: a learner may enquire about whether the institution runs a course for a particular subject). This type of enquiry can be linked to a prospectus course occurrence (these will generally be a ‘dummy’ course) which reflect subject areas (for example: hairdressing, construction and so on) or to an undefined interest.
  • Course enquiry - a course enquiry is an enquiry that is linked directly to a specific course (for example: a learner may enquire about what qualifications are needed for a specific course)
